With B.I.M. software, Concord can partake in virtual meetings paired with screen sharing ability to keep meetings at the comfort of everyone’s office desk.
The goal of using B.I.M . is to allow all trades to coordinate their equipment in the most efficient manner while developing unique solutions to avoid all obstructions. The team will run tests called “Clash Test” to determine if any equipment interferes with other trade’s equipment. Using the 3D software, the engineer can determine the most efficient solution to quickly change the design and proceed to the rest of the review. When B.I.M. is properly implemented, M.E.P . field changes are virtually eliminated from the equation if everything is installed according to the 3D model.
